Beautiful kick of the footy. That's going to be a real weapon the more comfortable he gets

Looking like a pretty spot on pick 7 from those early stats.
He’s getting a little better each week in my opinion which is just what he should be doing.

Looked like a senior footballer after quarter time this week. I can see why the club were so keen on him so far out.

He is a strong bugger for his age.

We also saw on the weekend why we were apparently keen on Connor Rozee. Will be interesting to see how the 2 compare in a few years time.

I would have loved to see what would have happened if Rozzee was still available for our first pick. No value in speculating I suppose, thought can’t help but think we’d have traded 7 for 10 and 15.

Watched Bailey closely on Sunday , his tank and running patterns are incredible for his age.
His vision and delivery are also incredible.
Let the media rave about their favourites while Bailey just improves over the lot of them.
Bring back the biff

So glad we didn't drop him. I know a number of woofers wanted this but Bevo knows what he is doing.

Bailey is tracking better than Cooney did in his first year. Gets more of the footy.

Nice first goal tonight. Has some burst speed that the list for the most part doesn't have. Looking forward to him developing.

He has shown enough to say he's going to be a top flight mid in years to come. Cannot fault our first round picks for this or last season.

Yep nice first goal. I would like to see his left foot some time soon though.
We certainly have plenty to work with with this kid. I love his turn of pace when he needs it. It's like he gets shot out of a canon. Once he feels he belongs out there he will be Cooney and Judd like out of packs.
They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!

Re: Welcome to the Bulldogs: Bailey Smith
I was actually more impressed with his second shot at goal than the first; showed a gear I didn't know he had.
He might end up an elite mid but he certainly has that electric quality that you can't imitate.
