Impressive by Chris Bell - 'ticking boxes' and 'conservative approach' in the one interview.

Re: Injury List - 2019
“Dale’s back running outside and completing an intensive block of strength training,” Bell said.
Just adds to the extensive legacy of Dale.
I hope he continues to astound us and everyone for some time yet.
He is not going to go willingly into retirement. I fully expect that if he has a to finish to the year that he gets another year.
It's improbable. But Dale's career has been built on defying the odds.

Re: Injury List - 2019
Dale was out kicking the footy with his 2 sons at halftime on Sunday. His had one leg in a brace and was kicking the ball to his boys with the other leg. I was most surprised!
Anyone can support a team that is winning, it takes no courage. But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you, that takes a lot of courage, so lets always be behind our boys and girls in red, white and blue.

Marcus Adams is no longer a Bulldog so it's not our problem and probably shouldn't be in the injury list thread
I know old habits die hard though.

Sorry I was just saying because we were worried about losing him and he hasn’t played a game all year

Hey it's fine to mention him, it just should probably go in the 'Following our Exs' thread in the future.
Just in case someone sees the 'out for 8 weeks' part in the injury thread after a game and has a scare

Almost certain it was that thread in the last week. Agree with you, has no real need to be mentioned in a thread dedicated to current players health.

Re: Injury List - 2019
Suckling likely to return
Western Bulldogs defender Matt Suckling looks likely to return to football this weekend, after sustaining a groin injury during a training session two weeks ago.
Medical Services Manager Chris Bell said that Suckling has progressed well over the past fortnight.
“Matt has continued to progress really well following his groin injury. He is back into full training this week, and if he ticks the final boxes during the main session on Thursday, he will be available to play this weekend,” Bell said.
Meanwhile, developing forward Ben Cavarra has sustained a hamstring injury in Sunday’s VFL match at Casey Fields.
“Ben was sprinting for the footy in the third quarter and when we went to mark the ball, he overstretched and felt a pain in his hamstring,” Bell said.
“On assessment today, Ben has sustained a moderate grade hamstring injury. We will go through our process this week to determine how many weeks Ben will be on the sidelines for.”
