BT's Rolling 2019 Draft Picks Order Thread
I will give this a bump every now and then through the year for woofers to understand our hand of draft picks, especially as it relates to securing Josh Kelly with multiple picks and our large spare salary cap.
Currently: (Note: No pick number allocated until after round 1 obviously, when picks are in flux, it cant incorporate free agency compo etc. It's just the natural pick based on ladder positions)
1st Rounder - Pick TBA - WBD
2nd Rounder - Pick TBA - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick TBA - STK
3rd Rounder - Pick TBA - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick TBA - HAW
5th Rounder - Pick TBA - WBD
If you want to root, St Kilda & Hawthorn losing is good. Plus us winning obviously.

Re: BT's Rolling 2019 Draft Picks Order Thread
I’m glad we didn’t give up an early pick for Wingard
Way too flighty for an early pick

And PA wanted two first rounders for him
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Round 9:
1st Rounder - Pick 7 - WBD
2nd Rounder - Pick 25 - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick 42 - StK (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 43 - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick 44 - Haw (from)
5th Rounder - Pick 79 - WBD
= Picks 7, 25, 42, 43, 44, 79 (& Duryea for pick 61)
Liveladders End of Season Prediction: 7, 25, 43, (61 Duryea) & 79 - with 46 (Haw) & 44 (StK)
(Marcus Adams: Pick 32 2018, & currently Pick 44 2019)
(Other interesting trade: Carlton currently swapping pick 1 for pick 12 with Adelaide
(Other interesting note: The proposed Wingard trade was for the 2019 1st - currently pick 7)
Editors note: packaging up the two bonus third rounders out of last year via the Hawks & Saints is roughly 740 draft points, or around pick 26 (resulting in maybe pick 28-30 range). It might be nice if we could find a suitor for a draft points trade to get into the middle of the second round to use or trade with. So leaving picks 7, 25, 28-30, 43 & 79 (plus rookie upgrades and/or free agents) and about $1.6M in cap.

Re: BT's Rolling 2019 Draft Picks Order Thread
Round 10:
1st Rounder - Pick 6 - WBD
2nd Rounder - Pick 24 - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick 42 - WBD (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 45 - StK (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 47 - Haw (from)
5th Rounder - Pick 78 - WBD
= Picks 6, 24, 42, 45, 47, 78 (& Duryea for pick 60)
Liveladders End of Season Prediction: 5, 23, 41, (59 Duryea) & 77 - with 45 (Haw) & 47 (StK)
(Marcus Adams: Pick 32 2018, & currently Pick 47 2019 - equal to 900 draft points (in play both years) or equivalent to Pick 20 for Adams)
(Other interesting trade: Carlton currently swapping pick 1 for pick 12 with Adelaide)
(Other interesting note: The proposed Wingard trade was for the 2019 1st - currently pick 6)
Editors note: packaging up the two bonus third rounders out of last year via the Hawks & Saints is roughly 660 draft points, or around pick 29 (resulting in maybe pick 34 range). It might be nice if we could find a suitor for a draft points trade to get into the middle of the second round to use or trade with. So leaving picks 5, 23, 34-ish, 41 & 77 (plus rookie upgrades and/or free agents) and about $1.6M in cap.

I think BT that Carlton are giving their second rounder to Adelaide too. Not 100% sure but 97.5%.
