    Comments

    Marmo
There was a definite emphasis on 4 players as the standouts, with Bontempelli (84 of possible 96) taking a clear win from Jackson Macrae (63). Josh Dunkley (49) took 3rd position from Crozier (34). Despite a very good contribution from most of the team the only others to record a vote were Bailey Smith (5), Josh Schache (4) and Johannisen with a single vote.

    James
A comfortable margin again for Dunkley (44 of possible 46) from Bailey Smith (13) and Josh Schache (11). Aaron Naughton (1) was the other pup to score.

    Marmo - Leaderboard

    23- Jack Macrae, Marcus Bontempelli
    22.5 - Caleb Daniel
    20 - Josh Dunkley
    10 - Tom Liberatore
    9 - Aaron Naughton

A change at the top as Bontempelli and Macrae both go past Daniel as joint leaders. Dunkley has also closed in at 4th. Hard for Caleb to not be left behind with the injury from this game.

    James – Leaderboard

    16 - Josh Dunkley
    9 - Bailey Smith
    8 - Aaron Naughton
    4 – Tim English
    3 – Pat Lipinski

Dunkley has strengthened his position with again being voted as the best pup for the round.

Tuesday evenings around 8.00pm will be the cut off time to cast your votes after a game....then soon after the results will be up on this thread.

    Round 16 - Western Bulldogs v Geelong

    Marmo

    4 – Marcus Bontempelli

    1 – Lachie Hunter

    James

    2 – Aaron Naughton
    1 – Josh Dunkley

    Comments

    Marmo

With a stirring victory over a despised opponent, there were plenty of contributors amongst the playing group and a sense that woofers could have awarded votes to a several players. At the conclusion it was again Marcus Bontempelli (85 of possible 108) taking a clear win from Aaron Naughton (65). There was then a reasonable gap to Jackson Macrae (36) and Lachie Hunter (32) for the minor votes. Josh Dunkley (23) was close up and other votes were awarded to Toby McLean (10), Sam Lloyd (8), Jason Johannisen and Bailey Williams (2 each). Tim English, Taylor Duryea and Jackson Trengove all received a single vote.

    James
A clear win for Naughton (44 of possible 50) for Dunkley (26). Bailey Smith (3) and Tim English (2) were the other pups to score.

    Marmo - Leaderboard

    27 - Marcus Bontempelli
    25- Jack Macrae
    22.5 - Caleb Daniel
    20 - Josh Dunkley
    12 - Aaron Naughton

Bontempelli has now taken the lead from Macrae and given their current form they may pull away from the field over the next few weeks.

    James – Leaderboard

    17 - Josh Dunkley
    10 - Aaron Naughton
    9 - Bailey Smith
    4 – Tim English
    3 – Pat Lipinski

Dunkley has maintained his lead, with Naughton moving to 2nd spot.

Here is the tally Board after our Round 17 game against Melbourne

Tuesday evenings around 8.00pm will be the cut off time to cast your votes after a game....then soon after the results will be up on this thread.

    Round 17 - Western Bulldogs v Melbourne

    Marmo

    4 – Josh Dunkley
    3 – Lachie Hunter
    2 – Taylor Duryea
    1 – Jackson Macrae

    James

    2 – Josh Dunkley
    1 – Josh Schache

    Comments

    Marmo

A brilliant career best performance saw Josh Dunkley (108 of possible 108) take a unanimous decision as BOG. Lachie Hunter (54) was assessed as his best game of the year in second from a tight contest that had Taylor Duryea (36) just ahead of Jackson Macrae (35). Others to record votes were Sam Lloyd (11), Hayden Crozier (9), Josh Schache (8), Tim English (5), Bailey Smith (3) and Zaine Cordy with a single vote.

    James

Unsurprisingly also dominated by Dunkley (50 of possible 50) from Schache (14). Bailey Smith (9) and Tim English (2) were the other pups to score.

    Marmo - Leaderboard

    27 - Marcus Bontempelli
    26- Jack Macrae
    24 - Josh Dunkley
    22.5 - Caleb Daniel
    12 - Aaron Naughton

Bontempelli retains the lead but Macrae and Dunkley are certainly challenging.

    James – Leaderboard

    19 - Josh Dunkley
    10 - Aaron Naughton
    9 - Bailey Smith
    4 – Tim English
3 – Pat Lipinski, Josh Schache

Dunkley has moved to a very strong position effectively more than 4 games clear with 6 to play. He only needs 1 more vote to be certain of at least tying the award.

    2 – Josh Dunkley
    1 – Tim English

    Comments

    Marmo

Unfortunately the team couldn’t get it done, but they did fight back and show that they are competitive against the best teams. There was a strong indication in the voting that the contribution was lead by Bontempelli (81 of possible 84), and Macrae (66). Next best was Dunkley (24) and Crozier (15). Also recognised was Tim English (12), Aaron Naughton (6) and Bailey Dale (4). Jason Johannisen and Pat Lipinski both recorded a single vote.

    James

Dunkley (22 of possible 36) took the top position in a wider grouping for the pups. The minor vote goes to Tim English (12) narrowly over Aaron Naughton (11) from Bailey Smith (6) with Schache (2) and Lipinski (1) was the other pups to record votes.

    Marmo - Leaderboard

    35 - Marcus Bontempelli
    32- Jack Macrae
    26 - Josh Dunkley
    22.5 - Caleb Daniel
    14 - Aaron Naughton

Further consolidation by our leaders who each added to their tally widening the gaps between each other and the pack.

    James – Leaderboard

    22 - Josh Dunkley
    12 - Aaron Naughton
    10 - Bailey Smith
    7 – Tim English
3 – Pat Lipinski, Josh Schache

Dunkley has probably clinched the award as he is effectively 5 games clear with 3 plus any finals left.

    Marmo

With a great team performance, it did seem that Woofers struggled to decide who to vote for and 10 individual players recorded Marmo votes, with several other players also being strong contributors. The dominant player was Josh Dunkley (93 of possible 108) from Macrae (79). A sizable gap to 3rd taken by Hayden Crozier (24), narrowly over Toby McLean (22). Best of the rest was Bontempelli (18), Hunter (17) and Dale (8). Tim English and Bailey Smith each recorded 2, while Will Hayes was awarded a single vote.

    James

Dunkley (47 of possible 48) was dominant in the James with Tim English (10) taking the minor vote ahead of Bailey Smith (8), Aaron Naughton (6) and Lipinski (1).

    Marmo - Leaderboard

35 - Marcus Bontempelli, Jack Macrae
    30 - Josh Dunkley
    22.5 - Caleb Daniel
    14 - Aaron Naughton

The lead has really tightened with our 3 AA standard midfielders all a chance to take the overall award.

    James – Leaderboard

    24 - Josh Dunkley
    12 - Aaron Naughton
    10 - Bailey Smith
    8 – Tim English
3 – Pat Lipinski, Josh Schache

Dunkley has further cemented his stranglehold on the award, but we are also seeing great signs from the other pups.
