Leftfield suggestion (until I see the VFL game anyway) - Roarke Smith for Dickson, plays defensive forward on Rich. Seems that is what he's being groomed for. He's quite good in the air for his size and the MC clearly rate him based on his selection in past years.
    Worth a try, good suggestion.

IN: Schache, Lipinski (pending decent performances today)
    OUT: Dickson, Gowers

Gowers won’t happen, but the good isn’t outweighing the bad at the moment. I’d like to see Dale or Williams also put their hands up and put pressure on Hayes, but I think Bevo is digging his heels in on this one and it’ll take a lot to squeeze Hayes out.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

We were fortunate to have so many good players against the injury riddled Richmond that the poor form of Dickson Gowers and Hayes wasn’t quite as obvious. Lipinski Dale and Webb hopefully will play well today for Footscray to increase our senior depth selection

Would be surprised. A fine I would think.

I want to get Williams into the side but Young was pretty decent and deserves to hold his place. I really believe he'd play Hayes' role to a far better standard than Hayes can but seems to be against his developmental curve. I'm not as high on Lipinski but he deserves his chance.

    In: Suckling Lipinski
Out: Hayes (Suckling brings so much more if fit), Sam Lloyd (Needs a message that the unnecessary snap could have cost the game)

I like the suggestion of Roarke Smith to play defensive forward on Daniel Rich.

Out: Dickson, Gowers (IMO he will get a week as a lot has been made of his alleged head butt), Hayes
    In : Lipinsk, Schache, Suckling

    Following on from today's VFL

    In Williams, Lippa

    Out: Dickson, Hayes

If Suckling is ready then Young comes out

It's a guarantee he'll get 1 - 2. Any other team it wouldn't be looked at, or if the roles were reversed, Grimes was being wrestled and threw his head back Gowers would be rubbed out for wrestling.

Do we look at giving English a week off?

Tim is carrying a big load and with Martin being more of a mobile threat perhaps we give Trengove first crack and bring in Lewis Young to play as the 2nd ruck/ tall defender?

Good suggestions but I'm hoping English has a breakout game soon where he clunks plenty and kicks a few.

Tim’s just as likely to be a forced out given the cork to his right leg.

    That's all we need.
