We REALLY don't like the trip. Like, really.
Try living here and ‘looking forward’ to watching the boys play.
Several of those games were abject tank jobs as well.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

I suspect a lot of clubs records read like this. You have to win everywhere and all of that, but getting two games in WA and one in Geelong each year is pretty disadvantageous. The big Collingwood’s of the world usually only have to go to Perth once and never have to head to Geelong.

Yeah, it's a tough trip for anyone but the majority of those losses are comprehensive pantsings.
Apart from that excellent hit and run job we did on the Eagles we haven't won there for almost a bloody decade.

Looking at that I guess I hope the game is over early so I don't have to watch us struggle but just barely stay within 6 goals and then get smashed in the last quarter. Basically I don't want to waste too much time if we're going to get smashed

I guess if we are looking for some good news, it’s that we don’t have to play at Subi anymore. That ground, with it’s unique dimensions, was a pretty significant home ground advantage. At least the new ground has dimensions almost identical to Marvel (5m longer and 1.5m wider).

I'm not going to put myself through it. Avengers is calling me and I'd rather watch that.

For sure. Need to see that back.

What I want to see? Is no more of these type of damn threads. There has been too many over the last three seasons.
More of an In Bruges guy?

Once we start playing good football again we won’t need these type of threads.

Supporting the dogs is like having a girlfriend who constantly cheats on you but you’re so into her you keep welcoming her back with open arms....
I know we’ll get flogged. I know we’ll be so disappointing. But I bloody can’t wait to watch the match.

Re: What I want to see Saturday night
I'd like us to kick a minimum of 12 goals.
I'd like us to kick more goals than points... I'd like Marcus to kick more goals than points.
I'll be arriving o/s about 4 hours before game time.. still debating if I search out a venue to possibly watch... for my sanity & so that I start the holiday in a decent mood I might skip this one.

Re: What I want to see Saturday night
We've played at Perth/Optus/Whatever it's called Stadium twice and lost by 54 points each time. Scored 54 and 46 points for.
An increase in points for and a decrease in the margin tomorrow would be a good start.
Anyone want to take a guess at how many games it will be before we win at this god forsaken ground?
