If he's not an A Grader for a winger, I don't know who is:

I can certainly understand it from Stkilda's perspective, especially given that Jack Steven tried to leave at the end of last year and is very likely to do so again this year.

Yep is cream. If he ran the other way and could actually lay a tackle it would increase his value. If the Aints want to pay that that's their decision but that is crazy money for Hill. They need an inside mid who can win the ball.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Just when you thought Hannebery was a bad deal that's insane for a winger.
That’s frightening given what we might need to cough up to retain Marcus as he comes out of contract.

I disagree that they need more inside mids. They have Steele/Ross/Dunstan/Hannebery/Gresham and in theory Steven, as well as Marshall who is behind on Grundy on clearance average as a ruckman. The first three, however, are very similar types and although Gresham does offer something different, they don't have a great deal in terms of line breakers, especially given Steven has missed so much footy and looks quite likely to leave.

In terms of outside run, they're using Billings/Acres/Newnes and whilst I quite like the first two as players, none of them play like Hill. Savage is probably the closest but Hill is clearly 1-2 rungs above him. Does that make him worth the money? Perhaps not but I can certainly see why they're targeting someone like him.

St Kilda need saving from themselves.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

    Hill isn’t worth $900k but he’s a seriously good player. If I’m
St Kilda I wouldn’t be front loading that deal though

My nephew is good mates with Kyle Hartigan from Adelaide. He says Kyle has bought a house in Ocean Grove and wants to head back to Melbourne. He says Geelong has had a quiet word with him already.
I don’t know much about him other than he is a key back. Would he suit our needs?

I know enough to know that he isnt from Geelong. He was in Essendon's old zone I think and played for Keilor, the same as Scotty West. He's a KPD but doesn't take the monsters-more of a second or a third tall. Maybe he takes Morris's spot? I cant see it although I couldn't see Moz playing more than a few games when I first saw him train. I certainly didn't think he would play until he was 65 or whatever he is.

No. I’m sure he’s a lovely guy but he can’t play.

They are right into Tomlinson as well and have a sizeable war chest to spend

Hill would be a great addition for them as they need that type of run

The exodus from Adelaide this off-season's going to be of biblical proportions.

    The joint needs gutting.
