Inside mids are the only thing they have! They desperately need class, and have plenty of cap space.
Hill is one of the best wingmen in the comp.

The joint needs gutting.
I'm really keen on Keath.
If you believe Ricky Nixon, Josh Jenkins is going to St Kilda! We were linked for months but that chatter seems to have stopped. I really think he'd be perfect for Melbourne.

Re: Proactive Poaching
Intersting rumour from someone who normally gets decent info - we have asked the question about Ollie Florent.
Quick, outside, tackles, uses the ball well. 21 years old, hard to think of a running player who would suit us more. I imagine our first rounder straight out gets it done, perhaps we add a third and get a future 4th back.
Not sure why the Swans wouldn't move heaven and Earth to keep him.

Seriously would be a no brainer and a great pick up. He kicked a very nice running goal to seal a win against us a year or so back.
I wonder if their is still the family pull for him to come back to Melbourne?
More of an In Bruges guy?

Homesickness apparently. I'd be all over him if the rumours are true.

How long ago was that? It is a National Comp.

No they don't they just have inconsistent players. They have no true bull in there at all. Ross is played outside because of his skills, Billings likewise, Lonie plays predominantly forward now and Gresham is explosive and powerful but the try to go to him outside as well because of his power and pace. Hannebury is old an slow and not a first choice inside midfielder. Geary has been forced to play inside but he's undersized. Players like Steele are more suited to defensive tags.
Overall their midfield actually appears undersized. They have no Ollie Wines, Dunkley, Powell-Pepper, Kennedy bulls so their players are forced to play in and out.
They desperately need someone who can compete at stoppages. They get smashed there most weeks.

But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

There was this talk around Florent in his draft year. I was amazed he re-signed.

I have empathy towards the kid. Losing a parent so young would be extremely hard.

Pretty cold BAD.
His mum moved up with him for a while and the Swans apparently knew it would be hard to retain him. Small, close family unit.
Would cost our first rounder + change I imagine. Contracted to 2020, Swans apparently have an extension in front of him but he won't sign.

Well don't nominate to play AFL - you could be living in Gold Coast to Freo. Stay home and play VFL, or SANFL etc
