Swans rarely lose a good one.

I maintain that Vesz can still make it. He just needs a solid run of luck, keep the faith I say.

Mumford (they wanted to keep him), but that was a post-Buddy rule change cap squeeze.
Dare I say Shane Biggs?

Nakervis couldn't really get a game at Sydney and didn't play in the Grand Final (that was Naismith).
In fact he was similar to Biggs. Sydney didn't really want to lose them but they both got better offers with more opportunity at other clubs that the Swans couldn't match.

Re: Proactive Poaching
Haven't heard anything yet but I'd be surprised that a club isn't in Mclean's ear about more midfield minutes. We are fortunate that we are on an upward spiral along with some tall timber links prospects looking bright but I reckon he would have a think about it.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Re: Proactive Poaching
Just wondering if we really need to bring anyone else in after Bruce & Keath?
I still think we need a second wingman as nobody has really owned it this year, but this year there are quite a number of small forwards in the draft including a few NT kids who will go late.
There was a BF rumour we've spoken to Cedric Cox who makes sense given a link to Jamarra but I'm not sure if the likely trade cost is worth it.

I doubt Cox would cost much. I have him in my Cash Converters list in that thread. He has hardly played in the last 2 years. One of our 3rd rounders at most.
Just looking at his NEAFL stats he had a few games where he kicked a bags of 3/4 goals. One game where he made 10 tackles. Despite that he hasn't been able to cement a spot.

I still think Richards can develop into this role.

Should we be chasing Jamie Elliot or not? Apparently Melbourne is trying.
