My no. 1 question if this is true - why the hell make it 10 days then?
It means a lot more clicks onto the site which is good for the AFL
By the way, I think you are correct

I don't believe that to be true as there are a lot of people involved and there is always one that would leak the information.

The Hill deal has been leaked already. It's complex.
The paperwork hasn't been lodged yet, proabably as per AshMac's post.

I can't recall the trades themselves nor the parties involved but wasn't there some public discussion last year about the AFEL orchestrating the announcement timing of certain "big" trades?
I'd be stunned if this wasn't the case. You don't put on a theatre show without controlling the cues.

We're all big fans of the governing body here, so this view won't come as a real shock.
I *get* trying to manufacture content like this...but it's not only so transparent, but the leaking of the 3 PM start time (which of course it does, as it's different to the other days) screams we are incompetent twats.
Can they make a bigger hash of running anything?

@SamLandsberger
Sam Power strong that the Bulldogs will secure Alex Keath and Josh Bruce in the next 200 minutes. But Adelaide “not real confident” Keath will get done and say he could return, while St Kilda adamant Bruce could stay.
Hmmmmm... who blinks?

Justin Reid saying a Keath deal is 'unlikely' a few minutes ago.

200 minutes. What time did you post it. I assume it was 3pm.
I’m getting quite nervous we could walk away after 10 days with donuts

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.
