Equal second most contested marks since they've taken that stat (9)... Only behind Carey. Apologies if already posted but that's insane. I've never seen a dogs forward do that live before. Maybe Granty circa 97-2000.

Re: WB Game Day V Richmond R7 2019
Great game, and so much to like, with many improved performances.
JJ running into form, Caleb Daniels superb performance, Easton has his mojo back, with solid efforts by Lachie Young, Zaine Cordy and Jackson Trengove down back. I don't think Lynch enjoyed their attention. Nice to see the run from the backline, and the handball club back in business.
Crozier, Richards and Smith give so much confidence that they will win the one on ones, and break out games from Tim English and Aaron Naughton.
MacLean, Wallis, Dunkley and Libba were just mid-field warriors, and Sam Lloyd was always a danger. Dicko contributed a number of pressure acts throughout the night.
And "The Bont" is back to being, well, "The Bont". And that's very high praise indeed.
Great team effort all around.

I was dead against him as a forward until the Collingwood game. I thought the same, last time I saw a player like that was Chris Grant. I haven't watched tonight's game but looking forward to seeing it.

I was indeed fortunate to see Garry Dempsey's comeback game (against Richmond) after he was burnt in the Lara bushfires. He played at full forward, kicked six, and I don't think he left the goal square. All were from big marks.
From memory he wore multiple jumpers to protect his healing burns, which were quite extensive.

What a change from qtr 1 to the rest of the game. Sitters missed in the first, then from then on it was kind of like we were any other team and would kick more than miss. It was great.
Why?

Great win! Enjoyed that tonight. Great to get some form back after a tough month.

15.9 would have been 9.15 other weeks and it'd have been a close game. Please, please, please let this be a reversal rather than a one off because if we can kick like that as a habit we're right in almost every game we play

So right hujsh. We certainly have had games when we kick very well. The Hawks game in the last quarter kicked 16.10 overall. This is the turning point of our goalkicking now. Bont kicking the first great goal.

Did Hardwick actually say "it wouldn't matter if we had Jesus Christ out there" in his post match presser when talking about Naughton?
9 contested marks is equal second in AFL history for a forward apparently. That's some context on Naughton's game.

How old is he again? I assume like 24-27 right?
Probably out of contract next year and off to Essendon or GWS or something too

Jesus Christ was out there. He wears number 4 for the Bulldogs.
