Let's get #BlackSoulBarrett trending on Twitter.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Could it be possible to get him removed from his AFL gig ? After all the AFL wouldn't want any suggestion of "bullying" from one of their cohorts.

They have enabled him for this long, no chance they'll get rid of him now.

I'm going to be the killjoy on this, two wrongs don't make a right. Rather than thinking of ways to fit the hashtag into a response why not spend the time to write to the AFL and voice your displeasure about their head "journalist" Last year I emailed them with my cancellation notice of my AFL digital subscription and the reason why I cancelled which was Barrett. It'd be great if so many more did the same.

It's now a thing. If you put in the beginning of the hashtag, it's picking up and recognising it now. Getting a lot of support for something less than an hour old.

Well spoken. Shots fired... no doubt the media will protect their own and possibly criticise Bevo but glad that it's been said how could you not want to play for him

I’d imagine there’s a fair few who share Bevo’s opinion.

I'd happily flush Barrett's head down the dunny to keep up the bulldog tradition.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

There's about a dozen blacksoulbarrett tweets in the last 1/2 hour.
