    AFL considering mid-season trade period

Just got done listening to Gerard Whately on SEN who was discussing the AFL's consideration of a mid-season trade period.

Few articles about on it - https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl...37d99c0facf028

How would Woofers feel about it?

My take is that the devil is in the detail really:

    - would it be restricted to players that have not played X amount of games?
    - what happens with players who get injured?
    - What say do the the players have?
    - is it restricted to teams outside the top 4 or do players from bottom four teams demand extra?

    interested to hear woofers views

    It's coming.

I have ZERO confidence that the AFL would get this right and there will be plenty of rorts by clubs with lot's of money attracting the better players. What happens to existing contracts etc.

Cannot wait to hear the endless chatter about "who your club should target" and "*player* was dropped last week, there are rumours circulating that he could be on the move" for an entire season.

This kind of shit is gonna make the Sam Maclures and Tom Brownes of the world so happy and that is going to be so so painful for the rest of us.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

And some years (like this year), it wouldn't be who we WANT to trade...but who we DONT want to trade...
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.
