Re: AFL Game Day R22 2019

It is a huge round with almost every game having the potential to influence finals position

Fri, Aug 16 Melbour vs Sydney Swans MCG Seven & Fox 7:50pm
Proves the definition of almost because this one only has you wanting to watch the cricket

Sat, Aug 17 Carlton vs St Kilda MCG Fox 1:45pm
St Kilda still have a faint mathematical chance that will be extinguished by other results

Sat, Aug 17 Brisbane Lions vs Geelong Cats The Gabba Fox 2:10pm
Top of the table and chance to qualify for a home final GO LIONS!!

Sat, Aug 17 Adelaide Crows vs Collingwood Adelaide Oval Fox 4:35pm Adelaide need a win to stay in the hunt but Collingwood are chasing top 4. GO PIES (vomit)

Sat, Aug 17 North Melbourne vs Port Adelaide Marvel Stadium Seven & Fox 7:25pm
Port need a win to guarantee finals. Go NORFFF (double vomit)

Sat, Aug 17 Fremantle vs Essendon Optus Stadium Fox 8:10pm
Fremantle still the mathematical chance and Essendon clinging by non-existent fingernail. Go the Purpe Army

Sun, Aug 18 Richmond vs West Coast Eagles MCG Fox 1:10pm
Another top4 clash with the loser a chance to miss the double chance and West Coast wanting to lock in home finals by finishing top 2.

Sun, Aug 18 GWS Giants vs Western Bulldogs Sydney Showground Stadium Seven & Fox 3:20pm
Giants probably out of top 4 race but won't want Doggies getting in. Come on we can do it.

Sun, Aug 18 Hawthorn vs Gold Coast Suns Marvel Stadium Fox 4:40pm
Roughy's farewell and Hawks still a chance at the 8. Percentage boost likely
Life is to be Enjoyed not Endured

How good is Melbourne being a pathetic laughing stock?

The fix is so sweet I don't what I'll do if they miraculously come good next year.

After aggressively trading in to finish 17th. Surely a couple now jump ship to other clubs.

Their 5 wins have come against GC, Sydney when they were really struggling, Freo, Hawthorn and Carlton, and they fell over the line in three of those.

    They're in massive trouble.

For sure. You'd think some good players are thinking that club isn't turning things around soon, despite all the big dollar players they've brought in. And Melbourne need good draft picks, they can't trade out of this. Interesting to see if some better players get traded.

What an appalling team Melbourne are
They’ve piped up with excuses all year , but their effort was just atrocious.
I’m not falling into they’ll automatically improve next year narrative either

Tough watching old glass feet Adams play really well

Watching the Lions vs Cats and actually would like to get each of these teams on the MCG should we make it. If we could get our defence right and not let either team chip it around we could seriously open them up with hands and quick use through the flanks and corridor.

Our biggest exposure would be Cameron (who's been excellent today - basically the Lion's only offencive threat) out the back, and the caveat would be needing to restrain ourselves from defending super high.

Excellent finish at the GABBA. Great to see Geelong lose and good to see the Lions on top after a really classy rebuild.

But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
