Agree, although I hope he learns to move forward into a mark rather than standing static. Has happened a few times this year. Strikes me as a smart lad so think he will learn quickly.

Re: WB Game Day V Port Adelaide R15 2019
Good 4 quarter effort .well done to the boys . Our mids were very good tonight
Bont was majestic in the first. Just so timeless how he gathers the ball
And his balance is poetry in motion
We have found another mid n Lipinski . If he can add more to his frame and strength he will be a great player , hopefully in the mould of fyffe.
Liked Roarke’s game
Dunkley is a beast . Macrea goal was gold
How well looked after was Dixon tonight with the frees ?
Hinkley won’t have any hair left at the end of the season
If we had won 3 more game this season we would have been on the TOP 5

Putting it to top eight sides. Well done boys. A most memorable win in the wet. Our midfield is really skilled and fun to watch, when in their groove. love Jack Mac, a baby-faced assasin. And love to see them gather around R. Smith. He's had his doubters.

Wow, not sure where that came from but I'm glad it did.
Just checked the stats. Bailey Smith laid 14 tackles. 14. He's only played 14 *!*!*!*!ing games and he's laying 14 *!*!*!*!ing tackles.

Dureya looked pretty sore post game. Heavy track so wouldn't surprise if there were 1 or 2 changes.

Excellent win for the Club. Bevo looked really happy at the end as did the players. The conditions were very testing and we stood up to the test.
Bontempelli was superb in the first half in particular. McRae wad great all night. Smith did a lot of inside work and Dunkley was crucial to the win.
I was very impressed with Crozier and Schache. Crozier was a rock in defence and Schache was clinical and competed very well.
Williams had his best game for a while and Roarke Smith had his best game to date. Very happy with the team effort.

Is now the time to point out he was only draft eligible by two weeks?
I wouldn't swap him for Sam Walsh. Seriously, I wouldnt

Re: WB Game Day V Port Adelaide R15 2019
I like the fact we lost the inside 50's and still won its usually the other way round. It was noticeable that our defenders didn't get so high up the park which is a significant change for us, and once we did get it forward there was space to move. I'm not sure it was by design but I wonder it we can learn a few things from it. I'm really keen for us to not press so hard I think it is the big reason why we struggle to get decent looks at it while it gives the opposition too much freedom on the turnover.
I'm still not convinced of Dickson,Lloyd,Suckling and Richards in the same forward line, they really struggle to win 50/50 ball. Easton Wood continues to refuse to mark the ball he is still a massive worry.

Press conference. Bevo has sprung to life, full of beans, firing off a few barbs, very assertive and coherent. Happy. This is good news I think folks.
