Re: WB Game Day V Geelong R16 2019
I hope we've showed every other premiership fancy how to beat them. Then I hope they do. Then I hope Harry Taylor gets incurable elephantiasis. Then I hope the AEC redistribute Geelong to make it a safe seat for anyone. Then I hope they find records from when Bomber & The Weapon where there together from China & Mexico. Then I hope they lose Kelly for not nearly as much as they could've gotten last year. Then I hope for lots more nice things.

The cheer squad area for us was again half full. I don't understand why the Cheer Squad members just aren't attending games. It's great they buy tickets just disappointing they aren't there to cheer us on.

I still reckon we should have a primal scream, like a rebel yell coordinated from the squad and echoed by the crowd, right from deep in the guts, as loud as you like. Let it all out.

What a great win. McLean has two sensational kicks in the last to set up goals and so did JJ.
McLean certainly influenced the game, just as the coach asked.
Being at the game was frustrating and enjoyable at the same time, mainly because I could see the effort and endeavour all night.

Credit to Bevo, the game was on our terms all night and we dictated the tempo, where the ball went, how hot the contest was. It was comprehensive.

Re: WB Game Day V Geelong R16 2019
Irrespective of where we end up 2019, I'd love to see every WOOFER get amongst wins like tonight.
Premierships, even for the "privileged AFEL' clubs, are a rarity. Let's own moments too. Their acknowledgement doesn't inhibit the long view.
I'm by no means an elder in years on this forum, but my following of the Dogs back to the late 70's tells me wins against Geelong are very, very valuable.
Let's all enjoy it together. Our enjoyment and savouring of it, doesn't in any way pre-judge or influence how the club respond from here on in.
This moment felt very good. It's okay to honour a moment, whilst still expecting more to come.
Next week against Melbourne is till very much a massive moment. I was at a mates Bucks party when they smacked us last year...I yearn for revenge.
But I'm still very happy tonight.

I'm really looking forward to reading MJP'S take on tonight.
I'm an absolute numpty when it comes to breaking down games tactically. But I love reading a precis from someone who has a real insight into current football tactics.
I'd love to hear your take on the game Mike especially the 4th Qtr ans6why it delivered where 3Qtrs before it didn't.

Just home from the game. What a win! Love beating Geelong and they have been so rare in recent times.
Toby was so important tonight. Especially late. Still don’t understand why he hasn’t got more midfield time this year. But you have to say that the boys who have had to go back to the VFL have all come back better.
Great to see both Naughton and Lloyd hit the scoreboard in a low scoring game. Lloyd has been a great pick up.
