Been that way all year. Very strange. Did they double the fee this year?

Yeah I have noticed it hasn’t been completely full at the Footscray end.

Not to my knowledge, I think they've sold enough CS memberships but people just aren't attending games like in previous seasons.
They're missing out on some good football as well

I am surprised by this.
Cheer squad is an integral part of things too.
I took my son to Melbourne last year to watch us just fall short against the Roos, and found them a very supportive and inclusive group.
They went out of their way to make my son's first game a memorable experience, and when I bring my family to watch us play Essendon I am hoping we can get into the cheer squad again to give my 4 yr old daughter a similar experience.

It's perplexing,
Encouraging to hear they are so accommodating though

Our vfl teams knock off top of the ladder Richmond and now we've sent the cats scuttling down the highway with their tails between their legs.
The Bulldog Battallion is coming...

When you put in a 4 quarter effort all the distractions about age of the players and the number of games experience etc means nothing.
We don't need excuses when we put in 4 quarter efforts and comparisons of games played aren't relevant
We out worked and dare I say out coached the top side and it's as good as it gets

Will be having a good conversation today I reckon down at the pub I go to regularly about the Dogs. One of the musicians who plays there every Sunday is a Dogs supporter.

Riley goes alright too!! I find myself thinking of “Great Scott” too when I see Riley play. Has footy smarts and competitive nature plus sublime handpasses just like his Dad. Truly a chip off the old block!!

Really proud of the lads today. That said in some ways the real challenge is in how we play the next month after winning these last 2 hard games. Vital we beat the 'easier' teams unlike in the first half of the year.

I liked Ed Richards game last night. Cordy was decent as well.

Re: WB Game Day V Geelong R16 2019
Just watched the last quarter again, and as I've said previously this season there isn't a team in the competition that plays like us when we're OK, and there isn't a team that can claim to have it over us if we play well.
We're genuinely unique and hide the clear deficiencies we have in our structure when everyone sticks to their knitting. However, given our team balance or structure, age and experience we'll have our lapses and I think a lot of supporters need to understand that. We could have put another solid performance in tonight and lost against the top team and many around here would have gone completely ballistic and into meltdown. But, the difference between doing that and what we did tonight is really small, so next time it goes the other way some perspective might be required to keep this place a little more enjoyable.
Our defence tonight was excellent, it looked like we gave a few more free touches away between 65-100 metres away from goal in order to save some within 30. This actually helped us apply some pressure on the Cats when they got close to goal, which was a good thing.
Our midfield will be the best in the competition when at full complement, if it's not already. We're in this, we can beat anyone.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.
