I was one of them til I got a text from the Bulldogs letting me know tickets were going on sale tomorrow. Thought it was a bit early for a 15 day break, then checked the fixture..

I am no T&T, let me know if you think I am trying to pull the wrong roots.
Who knows if they are the right roots, but things are heading to plan. Adelaide could be half a sneaky chance to beat GWS next up at AO if GWS fluctuate to their worst (which they have been prone to do).

Essendon kept WC honest till the end of the game (rather than being blown away and letting them put a cue in the rack in a training run) and kindly likely ended their own season in the process. Good.

Richmond (currently on 38 points) follow tonights Freo game with a bye, Geelong, and Adelaide in their “grand final” likely at the AO.

If they lose tonight forget top four, they are a sneaky chance to miss finals. Back to their natural ninth habitat?

Really don't know who i want to win blues/giants.

Carlton's remaining fixtures: Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane

GWS " " : Adelaide, Melbourne and St Kilda

Probably Carlton narrowly which would put them on 32 points.
But Carlton are my most hated team. This just isn't fair.

I'm apricots deep into a Carlton win.

Hate em but they're also my second favourite team. I can't abide the Giants.

It doesn't matter at the end of day, hate both teams.

    We must win three games.

I did the ladder predictor and even if we win three, the only threat was Melbourne if they won tonight.

Melbourne's loss was a blessing. Now it is up to us.

Re: The unofficial 2019 "Where is T&T?" who to root for thread

    Round 15 Roots:
    SYDNEY to beat Melbourne ✅
    BRISBANE to beat Collingwood ✅
GWS to beat Carlton* (*probably) ✅
    WC to beat Essendon ✅
    FREO to beat Richmond ❌
ADELAIDE to beat Hawthorn (giving them belief for the next week against GWS) ✅

Five from six and, probably most importantly, Melbourne and Collingwood lost. The GWS/Carlton game is debatable, but looking at each team's last few games I think it was more important that Carlton lost. This loss almost buries them.

    1- Port Adelaide: (11-3) 44 points and 128.4%➡️
    To come: North, Essendon, Collingwood

    2- Brisbane: (11-3) 44 points and 117.7% ⬆️
    To come: GC, Sydney, Carlton

    3- Richmond:
    (10-4-1) 42 points and 123.6%⬆️
    To come: Geelong, Adelaide

    4- Geelong: (10-4) 40 points and 138.7⬇️
    To come: Essendon, Richmond, Sydney

    5- West Coast: (10-4) 40 points and 116.3%➡️
To come: WB, St. Kilda, North
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    6- Collingwood: (8-5-1) 34 points and 110.1%➡️
    To come: GC, Port
Notes: Bye this round, then an awkward game versus GC and then a likely loss to Port.

    7- St. Kilda: (8-6) 32 points and 113.3%➡️
    To come: Hawks, WC, GWS
Notes: Should beat the Hawks, but need them to lose the other two.

    8- GWS: (7-6) 32 points and 102.8%⬆️
    To come: Adelaide, Melbourne, Saints
An Adelaide win at AO will be high on the wishlist and then we probably still want them to win the other two which will likely knock Saints and Melbourne out of contention.

    9- Melbourne: (7-6) 28 points and 108.2%⬇️
    To come: Freo, GWS, Essendon
Notes: Likely beat Freo and Essendon, need GWS to knock them off.

    10- Western Bulldogs: (7-7) 28 points and 100.1%➡️
    To come: WC, Hawthorn, Fremantle
Notes: Three wins gets us there. WC will be missing Yeo, Shuey, possibly Kennedy and Natanui. Must win.

    11-Essendon: (6-7-1) 26 points and 88.0%➡️
    To come: Geelong, Port, Melbourne
Notes: Are probably already cooked, Geelong belting them this week should make it final. If all goes to plan and they lose the first two we want them to beat Melbourne in the catchup game.

    12- Carlton: (6-8) 24 points and 97.1%➡️
    To come: Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane
Notes: Season hangs by a thread. Likely win the next two, need Brisbane to finish them off.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    13- GC: (5-8-1) 22 points and 101.8%➡️
    To come: Brisbane, Collingwood, Hawthorn

    14- Fremantle: (5-8) 20 points and 86.4%➡️
    To come: Melbourne, North, WB

    15- Sydney: (5-9) 16 points and 83.6%⬆️
    To come: Carlton, Brisbane, Geelong

    16- Hawthorn: (4-10) 16 points and 80.5%⬇️
    To come: Saints, WB, GC

    17- North Melbourne: (3-11) 12 points and 76.3%➡️
    To come: Port, Freo, WC

    18- Adelaide: (1-13) 4 points and 60.0%➡️
    To come: GWS, Carlton, Richmond

Re: The unofficial 2019 "Where is T&T?" who to root for thread

My Round 16 Roots (in likely order of importance):
    WB to beat West Coast
    Freo to beat Melbourne
    Adelaide to beat GWS
    Sydney to beat Carlton*
    Hawthorn to beat St. Kilda
    Geelong to beat Essendon*
    --------------------------
(games that won't directly impact our finals aspirations)
    GC to beat Brisbane
    North to beat Port

*Denotes roots that will kill off a team
