I think we should add Richmond to beat Geelong to our roots this round.

This would likely put the Tigers into the top 4 and prevent us from playing them week 1 of finals. I would prefer any of WC, Pies, GWS, Saints, GWS to Richmond.

WC will rain hellfire down on the AFL if they don't get a home final (if they qualify for one) especially after WA was overlooked for the GF. My bet is the AFL will strike some sort of deal to make it happen.

We lost a game to Melbourne at Marvel in 2017/8 and leaving the ground I was filthy and was making no effort to hide the fact. A Melbourne supporter appeared alongside me and said "mate, relax. I'd give anything to change spots with you and actually have a premiership in my lifetime"

A narrow GWS win (so we can pass them on percentage with one good win assuming they lose to St.Kilda)
Adelaide to beat Carlton
Suns to beat Collingwood
Port to beat Essington
North to beat Freo? Drop their confidence maybe?

Yep pretty much. If we make it winning only 1 of 2, we need GWS to beat melbourne by the smallest margin and then to get walloped by the saints. That or the pies drop both their games.

A team in form heading to finals should not be losing games to clubs thay don't have anything to play for. Yes, I know Freo knocked us off in 2016 but it was Pavlich's 300th, it was in Perth and we had 5 out.

The other factor in 2016, was that we didn't actually care as our position was set regardless of the result.

If we are guaranteed finals already by other results when the game starts, I will expect us to lose. However if we need to win I am confident we will,
