The sharks will be circling I'm sure of it. Collingwood looking to replace Ned Guy, Geelong to replace Wells.
I think Sam is destined for much higher honours than List/Recruit Managing but I would hope that while we are currently in a strong position we still have a lot to do over the next 18 months with so many of our top tier players coming out of contract. It's a critical time in our pursuit of our 3rd premiership.
I hope Mr Bains & Mr Grant are up for this task or we will have to ask questions of them.
Fully agree, we ideally need him to manage the list over the next 3 years and groom a replacement before moving him into a more senior role. He needs a career progression plan.

Why did Collingwood sack Ned Guy? I thought everything went exactly to plan last trade period?

Wouldn't any emerging sports journo lover to interview him?
I doubt he will grant an interview though.

Like, they kept paying him at least one third of his salary to turn up to another employer?

That's the talk going around at the moment.
Interesting length as it puts him out of contract when he's 30. Any ideas why he would do that? Thought he'd want to cash in now in his prime with a long contract.

Re: Player Contract Status
This is something the club should be revealing, not that sorry excuse for a journo.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

He’s Twitter troll that lies for attention. I wouldn’t use the ‘j’ word in any way even denigrating.
But your point is valid. How would the club not have revealed this, if it’s true?

Yeah, I don't believe it yet, until the club announce it.

It might be hard when everyone has been ordered home to isolate. If they get the ‘all clear’ on their Covid tests perhaps they will announce it when everyone is back in (for the rescheduled training) tomorrow.
