Re: 2019 AFL Finals Series
I was struggling to find a thread to post this in at short notice but for those who have Foxtel, the 2016 Grand Final will be on Fox Footy at 6:25am Saturday in HD as part of their Footy Marathon.

Funny how he had a go at their thuggery - MMA and a bit of Footy. Richmond need to watch the off ball stuff.

Joking about getting Leon Cameron in a room and getting all MMA on his arse?
Fair to say our loss to the high vis turds hasn't left the greatest taste in Bevo's mouth.
Good.

Re: 2019 AFL Finals Series
The only reasons I could withstand a GWS GF win is because of Leon Cameron and Sam Reid.
I'll be hoping for a Tigers win but good luck to our former players

Meanwhile Pickett was allowed to play in the VFL GF, wins BOG and then leapfrogs them into the AFL GF.
It's that sort of sacrifice that makes for great football clubs. Ross and McIntosh would be hurting in a way we couldn't understand but will front up tomorrow and pat their mates on the back and tell them to go out and win the game. Their club will win a flag off the back of the sort of esprit de corps the guys who miss out display.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I'd rather bring my Glock I brought from a bikie in Auburn.

I've been to Auburn, one of my first girlfriends came from there. Braybrook is far more scarier. Actually pretty much anywhere in the Western Suburbs is. Those Auburn boys would run a million miles if they found themselves in Footscray, Sunshine or Braybrook even considering the gentrification that has taken place over the last couple of decades.
Anyway give me a stick and I will take your gun on any-day. A guy with a stick who knows how to use it is a far more frightening prospect than any other weapon.

This is true and it's part of the reason why I think there should be recognition for those on the playing list but not in the 22 on Grand Final day by way of a premiership medal. Whether you have a qualifier (min games over the year, or min time at the club) or have a certain number of total medals to give out to players/coaches/etc., I think there needs to be recognition that everyone at the club plays a role in winning a premiership.
