Agree, I don't think we need to recruit a third tall, especially since we have Naughton, Schache, Trengove, English, Lew Young, Cordy and soon to add Keath and Bruce.

Agree that Martin is the dicey one. If Carlton give Sydney pick 8 for Papley and Sydney give that to Essendon as part of Daniher. Then Essendon can offer Pick 8 (with something coming back) for Martin and match or exceed the salary. It might pay GCS to drag this one out for maximum return.

If Carlton are looking at other trades, it's going to be interesting how they proceed.

I know Martin and Papley have nominated Carlton, but I hope we are having a chat to their managers regardless. If Carlton can’t manage to get both deals done maybe we can swoop in and snag one.

It’s still around. Grundy and his management team are putting pressure on the pies to offer a 7 year deal before next season.

I’d be surprised though if Grundy went to Adelaide this trade period.
