The story writes itself.
Too me, any integrity the AFL claims to have is demolished by their ignoring what is blatantly going on.

Lol I can't speak for the others but Bont's contract with Mercedes has never been anything but in plain sight.
I wonder if Mrs Bontempelli received a huge payrise for some reason at her job?

This is the thing with taking shortcuts. The more they take they will struggle to get the most out of what is a pretty decent list.

Love your pun
I guess they must have used a lot of that to help ahemm... fund the cause.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

They will also be paying top dollar.
How does that go with the reduced financial position most clubs are currently in.

Fingers crossed he can help the Blues pork barrel their way to the top, like he did with Geelong. Is Carlton in a marginal seat these days?

Re: Carlton
This is actually good news.
He'll be struck by the inherent disadvantages Melbourne based clubs experience relative to Geelong and might realise he doesn't have the energy to turn things around.

Re: Carlton
First Clarkson says no.
Then Lyon says no.
Then they sack their ceo, who is on the coach selection panel
Then Clarkson says no again and tells the footy world it on 360
All the assistant coaches have left
They have a shitload of work to do putting an entire coaching staff together for preseason which isn’t far off for them. They don’t even have a playing style, systems or game plan as a result. The list manager is going to be doing their own thing without coach input at this stage. This is amateur stuff.
