Re: Welcome to the Westernbulldogs Alex Keath

I'm surprised that he uses the ball so well, I could have sworn that his efficiency was just because he took easy options at the Crows.

Has been brilliant and who said he can't man up and play one on one. King barely touched it tonight and Keath was solid as a rock

How valuable has Keath been. Enormous. So safe. Just gets the job done and doesn’t make silly mistakes. Super reliable.

No Alex Keith and we probably would've dropped last nights game and potentially the Giants game.

He was instructed to kick short at the crows.
What was surprising was his hands - some really quick and clever handballs last night, including a few underground passes.

We've seen a player, we've seen parts of his game he can develop with us, and it's been great for both Alex and us.

One of our best trades in recent memory, and I do love the 'pissed off P.E. teacher' look about him.

Looking like one of the best trades we've ever made if he can keep up this form

He's quickly developed some pretty handy chemistry with Daniel and Crozier in pressure situations ... smart little taps and knocks to advantage, mopping up with repeat efforts until one of them is released and we're away.

When on song they're like a rapid-response clean-up unit back there, it's a thing of beauty to watch.

If Martin is recruit of the year then Keath is second. Imagine if we got them both.

Re: Welcome to the Westernbulldogs Alex Keath

I love that Keath regularly neutralises contests. A simple 'carry the ball over the boundary', a '2-on-1' where he creates enough of a contest for a stoppage or until reinforcements arrive, a tap on to ensure he isn't tackled/pinned HTB etc.

He's a bloody good, smart, angry footballer.

My boss knows a few at the Crows and he said Keath would be huge for us, and he has been. I thought he was only an interceptor but he's MUCH more than that. He's got some real Dale Morris traits about him.

What about the 15 metre checkside kick in the guts? Very skilful.
