    No one uses Drongo anymore.

Poor old Drongo just needed a few starts at picnic meetings. New Year's Day at Hanging Rock would have done.

Stringer has knocked back a 3 year incentive based contract. Wants four years and more cash.

Surely no one is dumb enough to do that. Watch this space…

I can’t believe he knocked it back. Does he think talking to other clubs will get 4 years and more money? Apparently he does. I’d say no club would. But Essendon knew on some level this was always heading this way.

If he hasn’t changed since he left, Paul Connors.

    What is he like?

Is Connors a dill or is the idiot Stringer?

Carlton might give him 4 years.

Successful reputation. But Stringer wants the extra year and wants the cash guaranteed not incentives. He might want it, but that would be insane for any footy club. You can’t trust him to be professional long term. I’m shocked he knocked it back. It’s generous to me. If I’m Dodoro I’d trade him over folding. But then who really wants Stringer on four years or guaranteed good coin? None. I think Stringer will fold.

He must have some interest at better terms, either that or he’s the worst poker player in history. You need to have a hand Jake!

Yes, probably a minor hand injury and he has gone off for the game.

    Re: Essendon

He has been sensational in the past month but that actually strengthens Essendon argument about having a performance based contract
