Re: Essendon
Pick 7 for Smoking Joe.
Good luck to him but I think that's a Bomber's win.
Too injury prone and not defensive enough with diminishing returns.
Still, him and Hipwood will be pretty awesome.

It is a Bombers win, except it's also a loss considering they said no to pick 9 last year and Sydneys first rounder this year (pick 3) already for the sake of 4 extra mediocre games.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Yeah but it's pretty hard to get out of a cult. They make your life hell when you want to leave.

Undefeated and undisputed. Trade week over before it begun, Bombers 120-110. We are all bearing witness.

Yes I was thinking potential draftees will be a bit nervous.

Both players unreliable kicks for goal. Interesting times for Lion's supporters.

Re: Essendon
Daniher is horrible when you consider the gap between his best and worst. Pick 7 is a joke end of first at best imo.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I agree, has played 15 games in three years. AFL are the joke.

Re: Essendon
A synopsis of key players in this coming trade period. Not just about Essendon.....but nicely articulates their shitness:
https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/...29-p569pk.html
Adrian Dodoro, Essendon general manager list management and recruiting
A figure of much intrigue, Dodoro is part of the furniture at the Bombers. But that also means he's been there throughout the club's 16-year finals-win drought. The wily veteran recruiter has developed a hard-earned reputation for being difficult to deal with, known for making ambit claims for opposition stars.
He was a central player last year when he held firm and didn't deal with Sydney for Joe Daniher. In the end, the Dons will end up with less than they might have otherwise got for the forward, who joined the Lions on Friday when free agency opened.
Dodoro will be front and centre again in talks with Carlton about out-of-contract backman Adam Saad who has requested a trade to the Blues. Dodoro's initial ask included the likes of Charlie Curnow and Sam Walsh, but he appears to have lowered the bar since then.
Dodoro must also negotiate with Greater Western Sydney over Jye Caldwell, although the Dons could threaten to walk the Victorian youngster through to the pre-season draft. Then there's Josh Dunkley, a key target of the Bombers who looks keen to head to Tullamarine but about whom the Western Bulldogs have indicated they are unwilling to budge.
A shrewd political player and ally of Kevin Sheedy, Dodoro has been backed by the legendary coach - recently added to the Essendon board - to remain at the club. Dodoro has been thrust further into the spotlight following the axing of football department chief Dan Richardson.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

Nah, Essendon are Freemasons. Once you know the secret handshake and the key words the only way you leave is in a box (actually with a cable tow around your neck being dragged out to sea but I've said too much already!)
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

And don't forgot the initiation ceremony where the newly elected rides around the meeting on a goat.
