To be honest I don’t know why and I’m not on any Essendon pages but I see a lot come up on Facebook about them.
But I do love watching the club self implode , borne from knowing arrogant bombers fans over the years who just don’t see it at all no matter what.
I do comment on other posts too.
That is a fair point!!

Just came to post the same thing. It’s like something someone here would suggest as a joke and I love it

I love how they get the media acolytes in and amongst it first and foremost. It's a PR game and being dickheads upfront actually appeals to their supporter base.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

I'm no expert on negotiation, but I would have thought opening with a ridiculous offer that everybody in the room knows is not remotely suitable, is not the best way to kick things off? Especially when you have a reputation for garbage like that? I hope the Blues genuinely laughed in his face.

Re: Essendon
If the talk that the Blues are willing to do pick 7 is accurate, is Curnow, between his zero games in 2020 and highly questionable knee, really that much of a stretch to ask for?
Don't get me wrong, *I* wouldn't do it, but Carlton seem to be operating under a misunderstanding of Saad's ability.

Essendon are after players, so why not ask for players in return. Surprised they would ask about Curnow - as you say with his dicki knee.

Yes to this, but there has to be some reasonable exchange of offers otherwise you get laughed out. Dodo has a public reputation, I'm guessing it's the same in private amongst clubs? So Blues would easily predict his move. Pick 7 is about right, fair enough Dodo trying to get a player.
If he goes to the PSD then they need to seriously look at that loophole. North would have to re-mortgage Arden street to lure Martin and Saad and Carlton could get them as free agents basically.

Re: Essendon
Pick 7 for Saad? WTF?
I like him. He can run, break the lines open and all that fun stuff, but really!?
"But he finished in the top 5 of the B&F" is crap, especially considering how rubbish Essingdank are.

Pick 7 for Saad only makes sense if they give Pick 6 back.

Agreed he can't hit targets. As an aside I'd expect Essington to come hard at JJ again to replace him. Happy to take their pick 7 for JJ if they pay some of his salary.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
