That is as bad as I've heard if true. I'm surprised more hasn't been made of it. I guess it's normalised behaviour from these guys now?
Hopefully we can get him into our VFL program.

    Re: Essendon

The more I think about it the more I reckon the whole Dunkley saga was somewhat of a red herring, distracting the footy world and their fans from the diabolical mess their club is.

Essendon knew what it had to stump up to land Josh but openly admitted they weren't prepared to pay the price and even said they'd have negotiated just how we did. That they've not taken Kyle just reinforces for me that they weren't serious.

I believe Essendon still have a spot open on their list, so wouldn't be surprised to see KD training with them over the summer ahead of whatever SPP type of draft the AFL will hold next year.

Isn’t the point that they planned to manipulate the system? They didn’t rate Kyle enough to draft him. He was used as bait for his brother.

Yeah there’s still a chance they pick him up.

Defeats the purpose though , openly admitted it was to please josh.
No need to pick him up now.

In a surprising turn of events, Kyle is NOT training with Essendon. Knock me down with a feather.

Hope Dunks has learnt a lesson about Essendon's promises.

This makes for an awkward conversation around the Dunkley kids dinner table, Kyle's spot on the web page is in major doubt.

The going rate for a Kyle Dunkley video shoutout has plummeted with the news.

Their agent's phone has stopped ringing for plugs in the Dunkley blog.

It actually turned out their only client was Dodoro and its only a coincidence the phone has stopped ringing.

Nary a week to go ... cue your celebratory libation of choice. Might treat myself and knock the top off some peptides.

I'd tweet this to Dunks next Sunday but he's sagely shied away from his Twitter account since the trade request ...

I hope this is a record that gets well over 7,000 days but given we haven't won a final in 4 years I won't be throwing it Essendon supporters just yet
