Re: Essendon
As of today 6,196 days since they’ve won a final.
If we play next Saturday it’s 6,202 Days.
We need to add at least 365 more.

Any chance a Collingwood plus Freo win today and Essendon miss out. That is what I would love to see.

There’s a chance. But I’d rather Essendon than Freo. Freo are a lot better than the ladder suggests. Collingwood injuring a few Essendon players would be helpful.

Given the karmic injustice of the last few days, I expect the Dockers to win to give us a short term dopamine hit and then Essendon gets over the line at the death to secure a finals spot.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

1,786 Days since Bevo coached a winning final is your answer.
Or 154,265,869 seconds.

Re: Essendon
3,998 days since we’ve won a final (5 point win, Semi vs Sydney in 2010) other than 2016.
Thank God for 2016.

We badly need to take advantage of such a strong playing list and win next week.

Given Essendon are playing today, what’s the chance we’re put in the Sunday slot?

I ‘hope’ we can. But I’m nearly all out of hope. If we don’t win, the tough question needing answering is after such great First Rounders being drafted, great latter round drafting, good trading and a core group in their prime years how has Bevo not won a final since 2016, and not a finals win in all his other years.

I thought there’s no Sunday.
Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday arvo, Saturday night.

With the pre-finals bye yes, but I can’t see the AFEL giving a 5 day break to Geelong.

And I agree. I’m so past anger now I have nothing left to say about the whole afl world. I’m just over it.
