Unbelievable quotes from Hird. He is still not taking responsibility for supplement saga. His hubris and deflection skills (saga due to “two bad people” and that he was too trusting are deplorable. With the rate prospective coaches are saying no thanks to the Bombers they may just be desperate enough to ask him to be their coach again. It’s pretty sad as there are some ethical Essendon supporters who I know will not continue membership if he is awarded the gig. (And others who would follow their golden child over the edge of a cliff).

It's weird how he talks about himself and Bomber like this. It's admission and denial at once, based on the guilt they collectively share for bringing The Weapon and Dank into the club.
“We had two people there who were bad people - I don’t think they cheated, but that’s debatable ... I still don’t think players took the wrong thing. Players were put in a very compromising position, which I don’t think they shouldn’t have been put in.
In all seriousness the guy is confused and clearly unfit to handle senior coaching again. He can't even admit that he is the one who put the players into the positions they were in, and if he can't be himself accountable for that this long down the track how can you expect him to take accountability for anything in the future should things go tits up?
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

A prick in charge of a gang of pricks. There's some synergy here.

Re: Essendon
Tom Browne
“A serious contender has emerged for the vacant Bombers position.
Influential AFL Football Boss Brad Scott is weighing up whether he’ll go for it.
An impressive wining record with a highly salary constrained North.
Believe Essendon is strongly gauging his interest”
More of an In Bruges guy?

I doubt this will happen Brad scott is not going to leave a cushy job for 1) the huge pressure of a head coaching job 2) go to essSINTONNES rabble
Browne trying to drum up news and look like there are actually contenders. My theory is that they have found a "STRONG " internal candidate ( Hird)
Cameron ( who won't leave sydn) vs Hird
Can we do a poll vote on this GVG ?
1. Hird
2. Cameron
3. Brad Scott
4. Ross Lyon who the players want (be interesting to see how many votes)
5. Buckley
6. Adrian Dodo. ( someone has to apply for the job right ? )
