I thought Hayes is an outside runner who can go all day.

While his inside game has improved I think he is far better suited as an outside running player.

Early prognosis
The Bulldogs escaped with no injuries from the Marsh Community Series game against Port Adelaide. Tory Dickson was held out of the game with a minor adductor injury, but the club expects him to be clear for round one. Ed Richards managed to get through the VFL practice match against Williamstown after battling concussion symptoms a couple of weeks ago. - Jourdan Canil

TV fashed up that Naughton is expecting to play round 1 after training strongly (was at the gym, no sound was just the ticker down the bottom of the TV). Good news if correct.

Libba closing in on return
Tough midfielder Tom Liberatore is expected to be available within the fortnight.
The 27-year-old has had an injury-interrupted pre-season, after post-season surgery to address a cartilage injury to his right knee.
But the much-loved Bulldog is edging closer to a return.
“Tom has re-joined full training,” medical services manager, Chris Bell, said.
“Without the VFL in operation, he will get his match simulation in training to build his match fitness.
“We expect to see Tom fully fit and available for AFL selection in the next one-to-two weeks.”
The news isn’t as promising for young gun Rhylee West, who suffered a medial ligament injury at training last week.
“We’ve been required to put him in a knee brace to allow the ligament to heal,” Bell said.
“Once he comes out of the brace, we’ll have a good idea of when he returns to play, but at this stage we expect it to be six-to-eight weeks.”
Pat Lipinski will miss this week’s clash after sustaining delayed concussion symptoms from the Bulldogs’ second Marsh Community Series match against Port Adelaide, while Taylor Duryea (groin) and Lin Jong (hamstring) are ramping up their training programs.
Injury list
Aaron Naughton (knee) – available
Pat Lipinski (concussion) – 1 week
Tom Liberatore (knee) – 1-2 weeks
Lin Jong (hamstring) – 4-6 weeks
Taylor Duryea (groin) – 4-6 weeks
Rhylee West (knee) – 6-8 weeks
Riley Garcia (knee) – indefinite

Updated WOOF Injury List, 25 March 2020
After being locked out of his gym, Mofra returned the running field yesterday after ticking all the boxes, said WOOF's Head of Medical Services Dr Bulldogtragic. "Unfortunately, Mofra has pulled up with some slight calf soreness. An old man's injury. We'd send Mof for tests, but you know, the Coronavirus lockdown thing that's on the Tele is getting in the way". The plan is to manage this calf strain conservatively with the online help of WOOF's Head of Fitness, MJP. The good news is Mofra's fingers were not injured and apparently fingers are not directly connected to the strained calf and thus shouldn't impact his posting on WOOF. The prognosis for the calf is good.

Typical, you don't tell us all the injuries

In addition to taking a conservative approach, I hope all the boxes are ticked before a return is considered

Like you have to ask. This is Mofra after all, we just can't risk one of our front liners. If it was Jeemak, maybe we'd roll the dice a bit with the box ticking. He can wander over to IKEA and Allen key as many boxes as he likes to make up for it.

But was he flying prior to the injury? Training the house down?

Pre season form had us all expecting a career best season. Think the dogs version of Shaun Higgins. Mof caught the eye of all the moderators, before this untimely calf strain. We are very confident that he can come back to posting this year and not miss posting about a AFEL game.
