Great video of Van Oosterwijck being told she will debut - https://www.westernbulldogs.com.au/v...=1581577200001

Already a lot of one handed "handballs" being ignored. Umpiring standard has to be improved

Stupid that we're not playing in front. A wet ball is always going to fall short so being in the back will stop nothing

    Well that was disappointing.
I only managed to see the last half and we never looked in it.
Daisy is most likely a very nice person but the way the media carry on about her she inadvertently becoming a player I can't stand.

We never looked in it at any point. Tactically outpointed, poor decision making, awful skill level. Bad night at the office.

Skills were appalling, and Melbourne more prepared to put their head down over the ball.

Groves had some very choice words for Birch on twitter.

“Most selfish player I’ve ever coached,” the premiership coach tweeted.

Yeah, doesn't point a positive picture of Birch when she was talking about the club earlier.

I thought she could have given us more respected. Gushing over Pearce, was she poached.
Anyway good bye and I hope we have more success than you.

Last week Abbey Holmes on commentary actually praised her for dropping an uncontested chest mark because the ball happened to spill to another Melbourne player.

Really poor performance. Wasn't really a great night to be at the footy. Had some old git crack it in the grandstand at my mate and I, for exactly what, I'm still uncertain.

Anyone catch the snippet in the HS about Libby Birch having a crack at the club during an interview and Paul Groves sniping back on Twitter? Not a great look for all involved.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Yes it was all over twitter last week. Paul deleted the tweet pretty quickly. LB is an ungrateful so and so and I am glad to see the back of her.

    What exactly were her comments?
