Thank god for that. I can't remember such a frustrating season men, women or boys.

Let's just delete the thread and never talk about it again.
Have you been reading those Roddy Doyle books again, Dougal!?

If you're sick to death of the 'C' words (Coronavirus and Collingwood), I can recommend having a look at the goodbye videos from the retiring Nicole Callinan and the two Irish girls who are heading back to Ireland. Their emotion is a reminder of what our club means to them.

I don't watch much women's footy but did Blackburn have a poor year? From what I have seen she is a class above 95% of the other players. How does she miss selection here?

Just a personal opinion but I thought Blackburn has been down on pervious seasons. It could be the other mids in other teams have progressed and can win their own ball more and she lacked some support in the middle.

She seemed to get votes when I thought she was down so it all could be perception.

Yeah, without Kearney and Conti, a lot was put on to her shoulders. Plus the captaincy. Hopefully she will have a bit more support next year.

Fantastic effort. She can play at both ends and is going to be a star if her knees don't cause her problems.

If you haven't watched the presentation to her on the club's website I encourage you to do so. The passion the girls have for the club is second to none and I really found myself getting emotional when Izzy was speaking (who's chopping onions!), what a wonderful ambassador for our team. I loved the reference to Chris Grant as "Isabella's dad" ! Nathan Burke was fantastic too.
