St Kevin’s
Seems a lot of stuff going on after a four corners report. Head master just resigned.
Didn’t a lot of AFL players come through that school ?
I’m just a public school person and am quite nieve to how these private schools work but isn’t this a highly sports orientated school ?
A lot more to come apparently.

Re: St Kevin’s
They were always a bunch of tough guys when I played against them in the early 00's, typical Catholic boys school tough guy. I wasn't surprised by the PT chanting incident, the fiddling and protection of fiddlers, or the strange response from people associated with the school itself.
Trinity were tough guys too, and they were in the news as a result of a creepy old man who works at the school cutting a kids hair on school photo day, an act that resulted in a really weird response from alumni and parents alike.
Not all folks associated with these schools are the same, there's some good people, some bad people and a whole bunch in between, but some of the rubbish people associated with them talk and the adulation they afford themselves is pretty outstanding.

They were indeed, as was Lachie Hunter.

Re: St Kevin’s
Private schooling and the private schools themselves are weird as hell and I have no idea why they continue to be afforded the protection they are in the law.
Nice to see pedophile activist Andrew Bolt inserting himself into discussion for some reason to note that the teacher given a character reference by the school's principal merely flirted with a teenage boy, and no sex was involved, as if it's some demonstration of iron will.

Gross.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

What admirable restraint.

Andrew Bolt has never met a pedophile that he won't defend.

It's a weird one. Who volunteers to throw themselves under a bus to defend the reputation of a kiddy fiddler? And why?
I reckon there's a story to be told there for a brave reporter who seeks it out.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

There was a priest in Sunshine named Phillip Murphy who was also involved in a scandal to do with students, It’s not just the upper class they target.

It's usually vulnerable kids or kids under their direct influence. The latter crosses demographics, the former not so much.
