Sounds like we're in for a travelling circus

Our next two games against Carlton and Essendon at Metricon. But it seems some VIC clubs will play a few games in QLD, then NSW and even the saints going to SA

Yeah, that's weird.
I'd say they're probably planning on getting Sydney teams to travel up there also, so it might be a matter of them playing GWS, Sydney, Brisbane, GC & Essendon up there in the Hub before coming back down.

Might just be that Stk need to spend 2 weeks outside of Vic to be allowed to go to SA or something like that.

Conveniently on a monday round 7. So that would match up with what divvydan said. They have the extra few days up their sleeve having played last night

Questions now are how long will all clubs be out of Vic, how many players, if any, will refuse to go and can this still all be sorted such that every team plays each other once and with a reasonable split of home/away.

I think we will see under strength squads due to players family commitments. They were against hubs to start, be interesting to see how this plays out. Some players have multiple children at early age that would be tough. I dont have an opinion what they should do either way, but we work with what we have.

If you are worried about COVID 19, get your Vitamin D levels checked.
This article uses two systems of measurement - in Australia we use the nmol/L measurement. I have a level of 91 and climbing.
How to Fix the COVID-19 Crisis in 30 Days
In a June 22, 2020, Orthomolecular Medicine News Service press release,1Damien Downing, president of the British Society for Ecological Medicine, outlines how we could resolve the COVID-19 pandemic in 30 days for about $2 per person, simply by taking affirmative action to raise vitamin D levels. The downside or risk of doing this is basically nil, while the potential gain could be avoiding another COVID-19 spike altogether.
"If we could arrange to give everyone vitamin D, and it failed to protect them, so what? The risk from not acting is much greater than the risk from acting," Downing says, adding: "If you caught the COVID19 virus right now, having a good vitamin D status (from already having taken a supplement) would
Reduce your risk of the disease becoming severe by 90%
Reduce your risk of dying by 96%

When I had my annual checkup many years ago, the doctor said my vitamin D was very low and I should be in the sun more. I said to her, but you told us for many years to keep out of the sun due to melanoma. She said I need to take vitamin tablets or go out more into the sun.

Re: Coronavirus: could the 2020 AFL season be called off?
Re covid and vitamin d from what I understand the jury is out as there's not yet been a controlled, peer reviewed study showing direct causality. The link more likely being generally unwell people are more likely to have low vitamin d as well as many other comorbidities which make them succeptable. Having said that I take it regularly too. Everyone stop talking about it or there will be a run on chemist warehouse !
