I've been suggesting this for years We seem to want that extra year before making the hard call. That's great for team morale but it hasn't quite paid off with seeing an improving list fighting for available spots in the senior side

Its a nice idea but we’d just keep the shit players on anyway.

Our list is not as bad as the current score line. We looked goat the second term. Hoping to turn it around in the second half.
BB.
Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

If players were picked on form preseason Trengrove Maclean and Cordy must feel nonplussed at others being selected who are clearly not up to the required AFL standard

Who’s looking forward to Roarke Smith coming in next week?
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

If he comes in for Johannisen I'm all for it.
At least Roarke has a go.

This absolutely is their fault, we all called it and there’s nothing we can do about it because our coach is obsessed with being the smartest guy in the room.
True. That is the case. But that is giving our midfield a free pass which is where the bigger issue lies.

Re: WB Game Day V St. Kilda R2 2020
Something just doesn't seem right. From a supposedly tight knight group in 2016, we seem listless and lacking in care for each other.
Our mids on paper look great, but at the moment the only one that looks influential is 2nd year Bailey Smith.
Bont, Macrae, and Dunkley should be doing much better.
JJ,Suckers, Gardner have been error prone.
Richards, Jong and Gowers, have made costly mistakes up the ground, and Lloyd is a witches hat defensively.
Massive 2nd half for our season's fortunes.

I rate Roarke higher than Gardner and Gowers, bring him in.

With Roark I can at least see raw talent, potential even if he probably won’t ever make it.
I can’t see that in Gardner.

Lloyd seems to dodge the bullets. I thought after he crapped himself against Collingwood he would get an extended spell.
