    Keath was so good tonight.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

It's my birthday today and that was just the present I wanted.

He was good, but I’d have him behind Smith, Keath, English and Libba. Plus none of them set up a GWS goal

Happy Birthday. You can have a song sung to you and then sing another one.

True. I thought you meant best players generally (although I had Jack as BOG)

I’m slowly learning that Keath is kind of a psycho. We’re in sore need of them.

The work in close was excellent tonight. So many balls to be won in this scrappy game and we often seemed to get first hands and hit a target outside of the pack.

Was that English’s best game? Liked the ruck rotations around the ground. Love the way English dropped back and was able to either mark or compete and bring the ball to ground.

Definitely has some aggro about him, and isn’t afraid to let his teammates know what he wants.

Great Win tonight, boys stood up.

    Some observations

    * Not sure what was wrong with Sucklings kicking tonight, completely off.

    * Three turnovers resulted in easy goals to them, they only kicked 4 for the match

    * Bruce will get better - needs to but is a real presence in the Fwd line

    * Naughton not confident in the air like last year, but will improve.

    * Libba, just brilliant - those that wrote him off look again.

    * Lloyd - is he cooked?

    * Dale - mmmmm

    Overall so happy

Ed Richards and Mitch Wallis, absolute cracking 9 and 8 possession games.
