I like the idea of Thursday games way better when we aren't in them. Can get away with doing nothing on a Friday but Thursday is a stretch.

Not overly confident - we're young, lacking some hardened bodies and I'm not sure how we'll cope with it being dewy.

Kennedy's 250th, I'm never sure about milestone games but he's one of their all time greats so we need to be on early.

I like the idea of having Libba and Wally to go into the middle against this mob, they are slow but I'm confident we have enough outside run now to compensate for this and offset the grunt work Wally, Libba and Macrae will need to lay down. I'm also ok with English against Naismith and Sinclair because of the same reason. I think Wally, Libba and Macrae are excellent defensively.

They are bereft of talls up forward which suits Keath and Cordy but I am worried about their smalls, especially Papley so I hope we've put some work into him. I wish Duryea was playing.

It goes without saying that we need to make the most of our chances up forward and we need to get something out of Lloyd, Dale and Bruce this week. They look small down back I think this is Bruce's best chance to get off the leash.

Bruce getting us off the mark would be nice.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I wouldn't say they are bereft of talls, but of quality talls.

They are obviously missing Buddy, Reid and McCartin but still have the resting ruckman (Sinclair/Naismith), McLean (197cm) and Blakey (195cm).

I do agree it's their small and medium players that are of more concern though. Given the small SCG English should be able to get back to help the defence in the air again but we have to be on guard when the ball hits the ground.

Reckon we're a little light on for troops for this one (we're younger than GCS I believe) but I feel a lot better about things after last weekend.

    Still, a loss and we're 1-3, which I'm predicting.

Naughton has only kicked 1 goal in three matches this year and also needs to pull his finger out.

I have more confidence than last week, but am concerned that we have gone younger again.

Need Libba at the coalface at least as good as last week.

If Bont can stamp his class we can win.

He was clearly underdone in game 1 and we never really got the ball down there so he can be excused from that game.

Last week there were much better signs and I think he'll perform well tonight.

But pretty much across the league tall forwards are struggling so its not just him.

Last week I predicted we'd get belted and that worked out okay, so I'm doing that again.

Aye, there's an odd rumble in the tummy that Juicy's due, but I'm still scared to predict anything.

It's lovely we got ourselves up against a bitter rival, but I want to see us back it up with some extended form.

I wonder if we'll be talking about the hubris of selecting so many young players in the wash up. I hope not.

We shouldn't because this is a fairly young Sydney team as well.
