    Virtual Cheer Squad

Is anyone going to upload their photo?

If so here is the link: https://www.westernbulldogs.com.au/virtualcheersquad

Good idea or just a stupid gimick?

I think it's a good idea to engage the fans, especially the kids (and big kids). Would be a bit of excitement to try and spot yourself in the crowd.

What I want to know is if you get to keep your cutout after the season?

Can someone submit a photo of Essendon old boy Adam Cooney in his Dogs gear just for a laugh.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

It's not for me but if we are going to do this we should go in boots and all.

Love the idea. Also like they did not use it as money making opportunity when temptation would have been there. Will be a cost in making the cutouts. Perhaps make donation optional in future games to increase the virtual cheer squad numbers.....

Both of my young kids are keen.
Its not for me, but I'd love to see thousands of kids get involved with this.

I think they said it was dependent on getting a sponsor to foot the cost and Pedigree seem to have come to the party.

Good idea for some, I’m sure, but I think it’s a stupid gimmick, and won’t be doing it.

Agree. Piped crowd noise, fake supporters it's getting kind of embarrassing.

Yeah, this is an opt in that I won't be bothering with.

As I've said previously, if the product itself and the supporting broadcast commentary of it were of a high enough standard none of this would be needed.

Dominic Cummings at an NRL game gave me a chuckle.

Just uploaded a pic of my son, he'll get a kick out of it if he makes the cut

kids will love it. Good on em.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I think its a FANtastic (see what I did there) initiative from the club and am disappointed its limited to just 1000 members !!
