Ridley has been great, different type of player obviously, but one of the in form intercept defenders.

I'm happy to see Glesson is being 'managed' for them. Really rate him. And obviously Shiel, even though he can turn the ball over, is a first possession winner who gets it going their way - so am happy to see him miss.

Listening to Grant on SEN radio and he's trotting out the 'young list, one of the youngest in the round' line again. The club really has hung their hat on this for far too long... I actually find it frustrating to listen to.

Gerard was right after the interview - whilst all of that is true, it's been by choice and in a time when we've needed to start tracking the other way, we continue to go down the path of inexperience.

And begs the question about Bevo's development and retention record but maybe that's a thread of its own. I'm over hearing about it. Guess I just have to be more patient!

Wonder if they have it written on pieces of paper stuck above the urinals.

Essendon is younger than us tonight.

I don't think it is something by choice. We lost a lot of experience over the past couple of years and tried to bolster that by recruiting Lloyd, Trengove, Duryea.

Cant wait to see Cody play we don't have many natural forwards on the list. Gotta win this one wouldn't want to go 0-2 in hub life things will go backwards pretty quick.

    Well it is by choice.

We have deliberately gone younger and younger year on year.

    Nice tap from English.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
