Ryan's become my favourite player to watch outside of our own.

Todd Goldstein outdid NicNat, too. Still plenty of good footy left in him.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I didn't watch the game but your view is not shared by AFL.com:

    The All-Australian ruck battle
A strong case can be made that West Coast's Nic Naitanui and North Melbourne's Todd Goldstein were the top two big men in the competition through this season. Demon Max Gawn has a say, too, but his three-game absence with a knee issue might be the difference. Naitanui has probably already locked away a spot in the Virgin Australia AFL All Australian 22 and Goldstein would love to make the team for a second time. Gawn and Brodie Grundy both fit in the past two seasons, but there's no guarantee the selectors will go with two ruckmen again. Goldstein started well on Thursday night before Naitanui worked his way on top. The spring-heeled Eagle won 10 contested possessions to seven and the hit-outs 24 to 21, while West Coast claimed the centre clearances 10-4. Goldstein will regret his straightforward set-shot miss in the third term from a free kick against Naitanui, as well as a handball turnover that cost his team a goal.
More injury worries for West Coast with Josh Kennedy rolling an ankle inwards (can't they often be worse?). Maybe getting them week 1 wouldn't be the worst result.

Kennedy, save for a three week burst in the middle of the year, has been almost a non-factor this season. This is not the body blow that the media would have you believe.

I wasn't suggesting all the Eagles hopes rest on Kennedy, just another unwanted injury added to their toll. Time will tell whether the injuries prove too much for them to overcome or if the bye allows them the time to recover like we did in 2016.

Yeah it's one of those injuries that means everything will have to go really well if he's not there.

Giants are such a frustrating team to watch.
Got to feel for Leon Cameron.
I get the feeling some players are not happy with his re-signing.

Saints helping us out so far. I mean, call me petty, but if we’re not going to be there, it’s be nice if the Giants aren’t either.
Barracking does Essendon tomorrow is going to hurt a lot.

Their work rate when they don't have it is appalling. Dropping Coniglio begs the question what on earth internally led to that. Something has to of happened; I expect hub life would amplify any internal issues present.

It will be so easy. They get a worse draft position and they will also give themselves and their fans false hope for next year. I hope Fat Jake kicks half a dozen sausage rolls and then eats another half a dozen more after the game

Bruce out Bruced himself with an almost Butler goal...…..so contrived and forced.

    Give up mate, you're cooked.

Can’t say I’ve ever had a butler come and offer me a tray of food. Way to relate to Joe Public Bruce.

Melbourne's scrape over the line v GWS considering they lost to the Crows and have been pounded by the Aints, doesnt really make that form seem amazing. Dons are a chance.

Leon Cameron looks mystified. Seems they are doing the exact opposite to what he wants them to do.
