Well, it’s on a platter for us now.
If the criticism is that we only beat the sides below us on the ladder, then let’s beat 2 more and play finals.

We still would like gws to lose one more. They were a game behind us so it’d still come down to % if they win both their next two

Be surprised if one of them or Collingwood didn’t drop one of the remaining games.

But they play Saints in the last round, so if GWS best them we’ll take their spot if we win the next 2.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Not if saints beat the Eagles we won’t. Their % is a fair bit above ours

That’s true! Still not quite in our hands yet.

It’s close! Next root is a big one on Thursday night. If eagles beat the saints then finals are entirely in our hands

Re: Game Day Festival of Footy (Round 13-18)
GWS just looked off in the first 5 minutes - it was as obvious as us when we start matches off our game.
Fantastic result for us for a number of reasons aside from keeping them on level points with us. It incentivises Melbourne to keep chasing the season against GWS next week. Win or lose next week, GWS will have to go full rat power against St Kilda in the last round which drags St Kilda into the mire if they lose to West Coast this week. It also virtually takes away the possibility of us not making the top 8 if we win both remaining games, so our destiny is in our own hands.

Something feels quite odd in the world with two opponents who have rankled us over the years both delivering us the perfect result. Thanks Crows, thanks Giants.

At risk of jinxing it, everything seems to be coming up weirdly Milhouse for us, again.
