Tough game but very good chance to get another win and make it 3 in a row.

I just don’t think we have a match up for Hawkins, and after a mediocre performance against Crows, they would’ve got a rocket leading into this weeks game. Selwood/Taylor possible returns...watch Taylor go fwd and kick 2-3 goals....

    So...

I think we can win this. We match up pretty well as seen in the last couple of seasons.

Kick to handball ratio and marks says it all with these two sides. They play such a different style. Cats love to keep possession by foot, we love that quick movement chaos by hand.

We bring the pressure as you saw with the Crows at times on the weekend, that over kicking game out of their defensive half can fall down with one missed target leaving them flat footed against a surging attack.

I too think we are a big chance in this one.

We get the ball as much as they do with Cats 20 more disposals for the year than us and sitting 1 and 2 (us) on most AFL disposals. Inside 50s we are 5th with 4 less than Cats who are 4th. Unfortunately as we know we waste alot of inside 50s. The telling stat is marks inside 50, where Cats lead the AFL and we are 5th.

Cats lead AFL for clearances, (we are 10th, but I think we have improved here), they also lead AFL with centre clearances to us 5th, and cont.poss, they are 2nd and we are 3rd.

Looks like a cracking day up there on Friday 24 degrees and Sunny, little to no breeze throughout the evening. Will there be dew?
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
