Re: WB Game Day V Geelong R14 2020

Game over. So disappointed. Can't fault the effort. It was a game of inches. Two down in the 2nd half didn't help. But if you don't take your chanches! This has been our story for years now. JJ , Bruce missed at crucial times. JJ dropped a handball which resulted in a Geelong goal. We are not far away but we are far away as we cannot afford to lose another game. The ruck issue is major. I feel that the advantage we conceeded them was the major difference in the end.

Definitely. I was concerned with Cavarra for Dickson before the game. He really looked off the pace.

But it was more of the same from the last 6 weeks? What is Bevo and his coaching group seeing that we aren't?

We had too many passengers and what Geelong has done has exposed alot of our players that are not really up to it.

With Libba and The Bont down on form, and Macrae, Hunter stuffed from running all day and not getting a chance to rest we were never going to win it.

We were 6 goals up. If say that's a pretty decent shot at winning the game

I thought it was different because it seemed he got the opportunity to actually influence the game more and he failed to do so.

Needed Bont, Libba, McCrae or Smith to fire. None did!

They kicked 5 goals until three quarter time. Then kick 5 in last quarter. Not having Wood was a massive blow.

We didn't get the ball inside 50 as much as we should have, so no opportunites.

Yeah, irrespective of how well we started our really good players didn't have enough of an influence.
