Re: 2020 Player movement
Bit of a shame we didn't put some work into Cedric Cox to see if he was interested coming to the club
Brisbane's Cedric Cox has told the club he is seeking a trade to WA. Cox was pick 24 in the 2016 draft. Played 13 games for the Lions

Re: 2020 Player movement
Brisbane not letting the paint dry
Sam Skinner, Matthew Eagles, Toby Wooller, Jacob Allison and Corey Lyons have been delisted.
Allen Christensen has retired and Cedric Cox has requested a trade to WA
Cedric Cox has only been retained to help facilitate a trade other than that he would have been delisted

Re: 2020 Player movement
As Geelong seem to have committed to Cameron and Higgins they might be looking to offload a couple of players
Would it be worth having a chat to Geelong about Charlie Constable (if Dunks was to leave) and Jordan Clark because he has slipped down the pecking orders there?
Clark in particular is a good player

Re: 2020 Player movement
A quote from Gill on free agency which he can't see any issue with.
The free agency system has been questioned after two of this year's highest-profile restricted free agents – Giant Jeremy Cameron and Essendon's Joe Daniher – nominated top-four clubs (Cameron to Geelong and Daniher to Brisbane) as their new preferred homes.
But McLachlan said the system should see clubs at the lower rungs of the ladder be able to use their salary cap space to attract big-name players.
"Free agency has been in a long time now," he said.
"There's a couple of outliers with great players going to really good clubs who have made them better but it's incumbent on all the other clubs to create an environment and an offer and a package and theoretically use their salary cap because they should be able to use it better than the team in the Grand Final to attract them.
"It's incumbent on clubs to keep them and those to attract them. If Geelong is able to get him (Cameron), well done for creating an environment and for having a salary cap available to do it.
"That's the big trick in this and they've obviously done that because not many people could normally afford them."

Dummies, all the lower rung clubs have to do is offer salary and it happens like magic!
Stupid idiots!

Disappointed that Parfitt is staying at Geelong, would have been perfect for us.

Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
