Didn't think we would sit top of the table particularly with how we started the season. It has been a crazy season with COVID in the UK. Liverpool and Man City have had their slumps which has allowed more teams in with a chance for the title.

I heard or read that makes 17 managerial changes in the 16 seasons since Abramovich came on board. Might have been 18 in 17 seasons.

If you dont include the interim 3 or 4 with had 10 different managers in 20 years.

I guess you could argue that that ruthless style may actually work as we've won 18 trophies in that time.

Lets not underestimate the massive amount that the club spends on acquiring players, I'd say that's whats made them competitive more than most manager appointments

They'll need to start chalking up some wins soon if they are to qualify for Europe. What would missing Europe cost them?

I agree about the players mate, no matter how good the manager is if he doesnt have great players then hes not winning anything. I've seen spuds like RDM and Avram Grant take us to UCL finals on the back of great players dragging us there.

UCL football gets you around £40m, with the generous owner we have plus FFP being canned during the pandemic that money doesnt effect us financially as much as it would some others.

But it'll stop certain players wanting to come though.
