Nominations from other clubs to date
Patrick Cripps has missed out

Patrick Cripps not nominated by Carlton.

Re: MVP Award 2020
FYI the nominations are voted for by the players - Cripps teammates don't rate him!

Re: MVP Award 2020
No Jake Stringer?
Interesting that Dangerfield missed out as well. If Martin misses out the Ch7 commentary team won't know where to put themselves.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

They definitely won't know the names of any other players nominated. Doesn't matter they will just say that Dangerfield was nominated and leave it at that.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I'd say Caleb, Bont and Wallis just to be a bit different. I think the three of them, plus Macrae, should be in the AA squad. Crozier and Libba would be my next in line.

Libba's an interesting one. Couldn't not have him, but probably not prolific enough to put him into this sort of listing.
If he/ we win another flag he'll be the quintessential player you couldn't have done it without, but not in the top echelon of the team.
With that in mind a decent topic for a thread would be who are the best second tier players in the competition? Might start that up.

Staggering that Geelong players voted in Guthrie and Menegola.
I don't have much love for Danger....but come on...

Ridiculous really. Maybe Danger is not that popular in sleepy hollow.

Pretty sure Patrick Dangerfield's biggest fan is Patrick Dangerfield.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Hard to argue, Smith and Libba be close.
