Bankers & Anchors: Rnd 18, 2020 vs Fremantle

This is the round 18, 2020 edition of the weekly Bankers and Anchors thread. Once the game against Fremantle is concluded post your nominations for:

The Bankers = 3 guys/aspects of the game that we banked on to do the right thing during the game
The Anchors = 3 guys/aspects of the game that weighed us down by their errors or poor play

Please limit it to no more than three of each player or aspect of the game, but feel free to make honourable/dishonourable mentions. As usual try to make it constructive criticism.

Try and restrict it to individual players rather than aspects of the overall match - I will allow more freedom now as the thread seems to be going down more of the aspects of the game path so you can have 3 for each made up of aspects of the game and individual players.

The thread is named in honour of a popular WOOF Contributor, The Banker, who passed away on 22/04/2012 after a six month battle with cancer.

    Bankers
    1. Tom Liberatore and Lachie Hunter, the Brownlow votes for this game will be interesting.
    2. Josh Bruce and Roarke Smith both had possibly their best games.
    3. Caleb Daniel, knocking on the All-Australian door, 7 tackles today.
    Anchors
    1. Ed Richards does not get involved enough, nor does he get enough possessions.
    2. Easton Wood needed the run.
    3. Injuries, hope Naughton and Wallis are ok.

    1. Libba is underrated by anyone we play and it shows, his AA in my eyes
    2. Bruce looking like his got some confidence back
    3. Im starting to see what the coaches see in Roarke's abilities, maybe just maybe there's an AFL footballer in him yet

    Bankers:

Libba - we are 10-5 with him in the side this season. He was brilliant again yesterday. Around the stoppages of course - but also that kick to the middle of the ground in the second quarter was the firestarter.

Roarke - think he is playing well. Has good instincts of when to take the ball, when to paddle it on, when to give off and when to hold it. Does a lot of little things well. Huge contest when he flew high to bring the ball to ground which led to a goal.

Hunter - really relentless workrate. Peaking at the right time.

    Anchors:

    Cordy had a shocker.
Naughton (and possibly Wallis) injury is a big blow.
Didn't love the move of Keath forward, when surely Keath is the last one to go forward and Cordy was the option. It got corrected in the last quarter.
