Re: Rating our list 2020 Cody Weightman 19
Definitely needs more time.
2020 was a total write off for him and development.
He seems like an energetic puppy he gets really excited, but not exactly sure what he needs to do and what his role is.
He needs to model his game on Jamie Elliot from the pies.
We are crying out for natural forwards, if he has the ability, definitely an opportunity to secure a spot in the best 22 in the next year or so.

Very early days for Weightman. Really see's himself as a forward and loves to kick a goal
Looking forward to seeing how he develops next season

A real shame about this year for development of young players. Weightman should knuckle down and train hard and give himself every opportunity for next season as we are crying out loud for a small crumbing forward.
It is all up to him.

Exciting against the Dons but realistically looked a mile off it for every second of every game he played save for those couple of moments against Essendon.
He really needs more seasoning and probably needs to get considerably fitter. Not massively concerned but not going to just assume he makes it at the same time.

Showed he has the tools to make it at the level. Needs to become more comfortable at the level, work on his positioning and thinking through situations. Like that he can compete in the air.

Looks to have a trick or two but certainly struggled to get involved. Still very young and raw so heaps of time.
I should leave it alone but you're not right
