He will help add some much needed pace to our mix.

We now have two burst players in Smith and Treloar who love to attack the goals.

The other great thing is when Treloar gets the ball he doesn't go sideways, backwards - only forward! We certainly need more of that in our team especially forward of the centre. Only really Bontempelli and Smith have this trait.

I heard Rob Harding speak on SEN yesterday and he said dogs now have a real ability to play a midfield mix of 7 players rotating through the middle and forward similar to what we had in 2016 which gave us a real competitive advantage.

    Exciting times.

Must say I am impressed by the pies supporters, supporting Adam and wishing him the best and hoping he plays a great game against them.

I think that shows the high regard they held him in and any rumours he was anything but a great player and person put to rest.

Yes I agree. As for Essendon supporters, wow are they delusional and sooking.

They are appalled at Treloar's treatment. There were even people at their home groudn yesterday with signs supporting Adam.
There's also a membership petition for the club's leaders to explain why they pushed Treloar and Stephenson out.

Anyone else thinking on trade week and loving how we just went for the Pies throat? Had an opportunity, had them done cold and buried them. It’s all you can ever ask for.

I don’t mind it but I’m cautious of being overly happy about winning trade week. We know how well that typically turns out.

    Apologies I missed on Macare.

The other players which we should not forget:
McLean: with our depth he can play that outside running role. I can really see him and Hannan play on the wing

JONG: one player I highly rate and really hope he can get some luck without injuries . BOG on vfl 2016 premiership . Kicked 4 goals and out marked Wiederman multiple times . Explosive pace and big mid. His got pretty good hands, just has to play to gut instinct and go for the first option.

Add West to this list as well: good hands and vision. Can really see him take over from Libba one day

I am really excited for next season.

    We didn't. Essendon did.

The photo is actually a pretty good representation of what happened to Treloar at Collingwood. Senior players behind him who instead of having his back have clearly done other things to it causing a pained expression, and Grundy with an "I've got a seven year deal" smug look on his face.

Re: Welcome to the Westernbulldogs Adam Treloar

Treloar was played out of position at Collingwood IMV. He was often forced to play as an in and under inside mid. He's much more suited to the traditional rover/ swooping on loose balls out of the pack. He'll do well at dogs because he'll have guys like McCrae and Libba at the bottom of the pack. At Collingwood there are was really only Adams playing that role.
